Thy Neighbor's Wife (2001) (AKA Poison)

Sexy Babes, Fatal Acting.

Review: I picked up Thy Neighbor's Wife on DVD (released in the USA under the name Poison) for $11 and have determined that I was ripped off and that it's rightful place is in the $5 bargain bin. It was an impulse purchase based on my adoration for Kari Wuhrer. I've been a fan of Kari's since her Remote Control days and am slowly collecting her (questionable) filmography. Although her films generally aren't very good (including this one), Kari is consistently a sight to behold. She's in a number of sexy outfits and has one love scene with partial nudity. Additional skin is shown by three other blonde actresses (although a body double is used in one love scene; an actress in a B-movie couldn't do her own nudity?!), but sadly a gorgeous brunette doesn't show anything. Is the T&A enough to sustain interest in this flick? Nope. The acting is often laughable and the filmmaking is clearly B-grade. There are a number of amateurish scenes and several embarrassing examples of bad directing and writing. Not recommended (unless, like me, you absolutely have to see some Kari).
