  White Noise (2005)

I tape dead people.

Review: White Noise starts off well, but quickly deteriorates as the script goes horribly wrong. The main character, played by Michael Keaton, loses his loving wife. A man claims Keaton's wife has been in communication with him via Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP). After several odd & mysterious events, Keaton explores EVP and tries to communicate with his deceased wife himself. I won't give away the rest, but this is where the story begins to fall apart.

Instead of explaining EVP and exploring its history, the filmmakers succumbed to Hollywood pressure and punched up the story with a super-paranormal plot twist. Lame, silly and stupid. Skip this one.
