Short on cash

People are coming up with such creative ways to make money online. The latest clever scheme: Save Toby

Movie purchase

Today's haul consisted of more horror & depressing movies:

Near all-nighter

I was at work until 3:30am this morning. I arrived home at 4am and finally fell asleep at 5am. Woke up late with a headache and blurred vision and ended up calling in sick. And what was I doing for ~16 hours? Rebuilding an old Dell desktop getting it ready for use. That's the last time I do that.

Valentine's? Bah, celebrate the other V-Day.

I love music, but I've never cared about the Grammys. I'm catching bits & pieces of it and it's been quite uneventful. Super Bowl ad

Found out the hot brunette from the "Censorship Hearing" ad that aired during the Super Bowl is Candice Michelle.

Movie & music purchase

Got a few dramas and a CD.

Google Maps beta unveiled

Google Maps

Google's latest creation, Google Maps, is quite nifty. It shows a lot more landmarks than other online map sites and the smooth scrolling is soopoib.

Gung Hay Fat Choy

Happy Chinese New Year!

I'll say it... "dynasty"

Super Bowl XXXIX: New England 24, Philadelphia 21

What else can be said about the Patriots amazing run over the past few years? Another great season and another championship. We're becoming a bit spoiled in Boston by all this success. I hope kids growing up in this era don't become jaded and never gain a good understanding about the heartbreaking history of the Patriots and Red Sox. I got into sports in the mid 80's when I was about 11 years old. My education in Boston sports began somewhat appropriately. I saw the Pats get steamrolled by the Bears in '85 and then witnessed the Sox collapse against the Mets in '86. But things have all changed. Boston has become the hub of winning franchises. This is the ultimate time to be a Boston sports fan.
